Foundations of the Spiritual Life

In the words of Apostle Paul, we believers are God’s building, being built up as a spiritual house, and are required to have strong, solid foundations in order to build higher up. If our spiritual foundations are correct and strong, our inner spiritual building will continue to extend and ascend. In this way, the Lord longs for and intends for us to be bearers of life who are able to transfer life and light to others, and so our lives become landmarks and signposts guiding them along the spiritual journey. This book lays and solidifies an interrelated threefold set of these essential foundations, which includes having the correct, undistorted vision of God, of oneself, and of our enemy. We are created in God's image and are called to be transformed into this very image, unhindered by our enemy. Bearing a distorted or confused perception of any part of this image hinders our spiritual growth and transformation into His image.
