Men of God or Children of God

  • The man of God is a man of faith and a man of responsibility.
  • The man of God is a man of the Word of God.
  • The man of God is a man of prayer, a man of fasting, a man of continual repentance, and a partaker of the Lord’s suffering.
  • The man of God has learned the way to the continual infilling of the Holy Spirit, that he may be strengthened by His power in every work in order to be fruitful in God’s work and in serving His Kingdom. He trusts in the Lord’s provision.
  • The man of God has learned to walk in the Spirit continually.
  • The man of God has learned how to complete the battles of the Spirit.
  • The man of God perceives his need to keep the unceasing hunger and thirst for God.
  • The man of God fully perceives his responsibility and his need for continual renewal of the mind in order to get rid of the imprints of culture and become sensitive to the movements of the Spirit in his heart, discerning them and obeying them.
  • The man of God knows the difference between living at the level of grace only or living at the level of grace and the covenant.
  • The man of God understands the meaning of the Lordship of Jesus and understands the difference between the scriptural phrases about Jesus as Saviour, Jesus as God, and Jesus as Lord. All the decisions he makes are an act of obedience to the guidance and direction of the Lord, who is Lord over his entire life.
