The Remnant

‘Those from among you shall build the old waste places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In’ (Isaiah 58:12). Survey, O man, the history of humanity. See and observe the pattern. God’s goodness towards man, man’s wickedness filling the cup of its evils, tribulation and destruction in God’s judgement, yet always a remnant emerges in God’s mercy, bearing a Holy Seed to preserve humanity and make way for the fulfillment of His purposes. All the while, humanity awaits the Coming of the Anointed One to save. This revelatory study of the remnant observes and articulates this pattern through the lens of the past, present, and future with the purpose of stirring the hearts to awaken and be alert to the times and seasons. May our hearts be stirred through this study to realize the imminent judgement and the imminent coming of Christ, and may we be for signs and wonders to preserve His people and await His coming with longing.
